Money (medium):
Is money the root of all evil? Maybe. But money itself is not inherently evil. Religious myth perpetuates the idea that poverty is humble and pure whereas wealth is selfish and corrupt. With this idea in my mind, for years I renounced money and did not place myself in a position to attract wealth. Recently, I’ve revised my understanding.
Excessive consumption and the hoarding of resources, these are the real evils. Money must be approached with buoyancy and generosity, acquired as a means to an end, rather than as an end itself.
Some say that wealth is a vibration, they talk about money mindset, I do not like this outlook. I prefer to understand money as a conduit, as a medium through which ideas move. Instead of asking God for money, plan out how you will spend the money you hope to receive. If you claim that having money will make you a certain way (more generous, less stressed), try acting that way with what you already have.
Be patient, renounce envy, learn the difference between want and need, allow your bounty to perpetuate goodness, not evil.
